DualStream® SDSL from Spitfire combines a 2Mb uncontended LLUStream SDSL (as above) with an IPStream ADSL (Backup Circuit). This not only provides a very resilient solution but offers an excellent level of redundancy, as the circuits are provided over different network infrastructure and routing. IP configuration is the same on each circuit, allowing users to transfer between the circuits when required – not only will the office regain Internet access but remote workers/sites are able to reconnect without any further reconfiguration.
Please note as the backup circuit is an ADSL not an SDSL, there will be degradation in performance – especially on upstream speeds, if operating on the back-up circuit. Nevertheless DualStream provides a unique backup option to keep you working should your primary circuit fail – all at a lower price than any other 1:1 SDSL available on the market.
