Harry Bowlby

Managing Director

Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 while working in the Private Business Department of BDO Binder Hamlyn.

Joined Spitfire in 1993 as Finance Director. Appointed Joint Managing Director in 2000. Appointed Managing Director in December 2018.

Dominic Norton

Sales Director

BSc from Leeds University in Geological Sciences Joined Spitfire in 1998, having previously worked at Racal Telecom and BT Syntegra. Moved to Sydney, Australia in 2003 and after a stint at Commander Telecom returned to Spitfire at the end of 2004. Focused on delivering Spitfire’s IP engineering solutions, Dominic is CCNA qualified and responsible for Sales.

Samantha Emmerson 

Recruitment, Office & Marketing Manager

Samantha wears many hats at Spitfire as the Recruitment, Office and Marketing Manager. Her expertise and strength in those areas come from previously working in a variety of roles at Marketing Agencies as their Recruitment and Facilities manager as well as Account Director roles managing six figure accounts. Samantha’s door is always open and can be a nice place to stop to say hello..

Laura Hall 

Billing & Provisioning Department Manager

(MSc from University of the West of England in Psychology. Laura joined the Spitfire Provisioning Team in 2011, after taking on most roles in the department over the past 10 years, she now manages the team dealing with suppliers and customers ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently.

Support & Customer Engineering

After working in various IT roles Mikey joined Spitfire in 2010. With a keen interest in problem-solving and a passion to deliver the best possible customer experience, he believes our support team has Technicians and Engineers that are among the best in the industry. “By having extremely high expectations of ourselves we believe we can only get better and better at what we do.”

Nicol Kay

Project Management Department Manager

With a BA from the University of Glasgow in Philosophy, Nicol joined Spitfire in 2013, initially working in the Ethernet Provisioning team. He moved into the Project Management team in 2015, overseeing PBX and MPLS projects, and has been manager of the team since 2019.

Ed Bamforth

Sales Manager

MSc from Leeds University in Psychology. Ed joined Spitfire in 2012 and worked in the new business and account management teams before being promoted to team leader and more recently taking on the sales manager position.

Peter Goddard

Partner Manager, Birmingham

Educated at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Peter first joined Spitfire in 1994 and in 2006 set up the regional office in the Midlands. Peter is the Birmingham Partner Manager, where he uses his technical skills to support the sales team.

Simone Kemp

Mobile Product Manager

Joined Spitfire in early 2001, having previously worked at Canon South Africa.
Moved to Ruse, Bulgaria in 2007 and after a stint at Renovate Bulgaria returned to Spitfire in the Summer of 2009.
Simone is responsible for Spitfires mobile offering.

Sales Manager

With a BSc from the University of Bath in Sport & Exercise Science, Gary joined Spitfire in 2012.  Gary is CCNA qualified and has a wealth of sales experience, responsible for one our London based Direct Sales Teams.

Partner Service Manager

BSc from Exeter University in Business Economics. Joined Spitfire’s Partner Service Team in 2011. Pete is CCNA qualified and now oversees our Partner Service Team ensuring our Partners receive the best commercial support and unrivalled technical knowledge.

BaHons in Sociology with a special interest in the effect of global connectivity on society. Joined Spitfire in 2009, and since moving to Central Birmingham has enjoyed watching the Team grow rapidly, both in size and skill.

With over 25 years of technology industry experience, joined Spitfire in 2015 . Focussed on ensuring effective solution design for our customers, Andy is CCNA qualified and a certified Prince II practitioner.

Lynsey Davies

Sales Support Manager

With a BA from the University of Sheffield, Lynsey joined Spitfire in 2015 and manages the Sales Support team. Lynsey is responsible for many of the back-end sales functions including sales reporting and digital marketing.
