Ultrafast Fibre Broadband – why choose Spitfire?

  • Ultrafast fibre broadband packages from just £35 per month

  • Free connection and router on all 24 month packages

  • Speeds of up to 1Gbps downstream

  • Full fibre delivery all the way to the premises

  • 24/7 Support

  • UK based technical support from business broadband experts

Able to reach download speeds of up to 1Gbps, FTTP fibre broadband is the ideal solution for businesses requiring high bandwidth connectivity while on a strict budget. FTTP removes the need of an analogue line for delivery, taking away the associated speed and performance limitations of copper. This increase in available speeds opens the door to businesses looking to utilise more bandwidth-hungry applications by significantly reducing download/upload times.

With many companies increasing their use of hosted services, the ability of FTTP circuits to reach upload speeds of up to 115Mbps makes these connections the perfect choice for businesses looking to increase their use of cloud-based IT applications.

We are one of the leading suppliers of business broadband in the UK and were listed as one of the original launch partners of the service back in the year 2000. Since then, our broadband portfolio has developed alongside the national infrastructure to provide the most cutting edge, high speed solutions.

What’s more, when combined with Spitfire’s fully resilient multi-node core network ring, we can design a solution which provides different core node termination for primary and also backup circuits that you have with us – offering unsurpassed business continuity options at market leading prices.

Finally, all of our broadband services are fully supported by our highly trained, industry accredited UK based support technicians who focus on customer service and are targeted on fault resolution.

  • Very high bandwidth up to 330Mbps download available
  • Business grade broadband
  • Free connection on  all 24 month contracts
  • Free Spitfire managed router on all 24 month contracts
  • Single static IP address
  • Full access to our UK based Support and Account Management Team

Standard Care: This is the included support level providing a 40 clock hour target (every day 08:00 to 17:59).

TotalCare: This enhances the target fault clearance time to 20 clock hours (every day 00:00 to 23:59), for an additional £9.20 per month.

TotalCare Plus: For mission critical circuits this top level support option provides a target clearance time of 7 clock hours (every day 00:00 to 23:59) for just £11.50 per month.

Thankfully, with Fibre running all the way into the building, the likelihood of a full system failure is far less than with traditional, copper based broadband products. All care levels are supported by Spitfire’s industry leading service credits.

If greater service levels are required, Spitfire would recommend a dedicated, Fibre Ethernet product – click here

The main difference between Standard and Premium versions of broadband relate to the data throughput target.

During busy times all broadband experiences changes in the speed available, called contention, which applies to the local exchange end of the circuit and is the same for all providers. Premium broadband circuits will experience priority data weighting, meaning that this traffic will be transmitted across the network first, before data from Standard broadband circuits.

Generally this means a consistently higher throughput speed on Premium circuits when compared to Standard versions.

The downstream throughput can be 50% higher on Premium circuits.

All Spitfire broadband circuits are now provided as Premium to ensure the best possible speeds and experience.

Voice Assistance utilises Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms to identify and mark voice traffic to prevent this traffic from being dropped at times of congestion. Even if the network becomes congested, your call should not be disrupted. An allowance of 350kbps is included free of charge. More
