Recruitment process for Spitfire

Samantha Emmerson, Recruitment, Office & Marketing Manager
31 March 2023

We appreciate that looking for a job can be all consuming so we want to keep the recruitment process, quick and efficient at Spitfire Network Services.

At Spitfire we generally recruit directly, and the Team review the CVs and covering letters that are sent to hr@sptifire.co.uk.

If your CV fits our initial criteria, and we think you would be a good fit for the role we will move you through to the next stage where we operate a two-stage recruitment process.

Your first interview will be to ascertain initial suitability for the role, find out more about you and why you think you are a good fit for that role.  It’s an opportunity for you to ask us questions as well. Come well prepared and ensure you have reminded yourself of the job description and know what Spitfire do.

If successful we then conduct a working style assessment and a learning and aptitude test.

The second stage interview will be with another member of the Team / Senior Manager.   We find that interviewing with several members of our team really enables both parties to gauge a candidate’s future potential as a Spitfire employee.

We will always allow a working day or so for reflection on any decision following an interview, but we pride ourselves on giving you an answer quickly if you are successful or giving informative and constructive feedback to all our candidates.

There are many reasons to enjoy a successful career with Spitfire, here are a few:

Pay a competitive wage.

Diverse and inclusive of all people.

A career pathway – development opportunities, holding regular review sessions and a mentoring scheme with more established team members.

Fun place to work with quarterly company socials as well as smaller team get togethers.

After 2 years’ service you will be automatically enrolled in the income protection scheme.
