Spitfire Network Services Ltd (Spitfire), is redefining cybersecurity through cutting-edge network and firewall solutions. As a full MVNO we have developed innovative products that mitigate cyber threats, ensuring secure connectivity across mobile, fixed-line and cloud infrastructure. Our flagship One Network and hosted Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) solutions offer game changing protection, helping organisations safeguard their infrastructure, users and endpoints.

Over the past year, we have made significant strides in cybersecurity innovation, market expansion, and customer impact. Our ‘One Hour Under Attack’ honeypot experiment demonstrated the urgent need for secure, private IoT connectivity by revealing that an unprotected device faced 2,266 cyberattacks in just one hour. This reinforced our commitment to delivering cybersecurity solutions that remove IoT devices from public internet exposure entirely.

One Network is an industry-first solution that integrates mobile (4G/5G), fixed-line and cloud connectivity into a fully private network, making devices invisible and unreachable to hackers. Unlike competitors that rely on complex VPN configurations, our low-cost, highly scalable architecture provides seamless, secure connectivity for organisations of all sizes.

  • Keeps all connected devices o% the public internet, reducing cyberattack exposure.
  • Provides on-net connectivity across all 4 UK mobile networks and 11 different fibre networks.
  • CloudConnect allows direct access to Cloud providers.
  • Spitfire Unified Network supports any devices, users or sites outside of One Network to connect securely via a single entry point VPN using FWaaS, eliminating the need for multiple tunnels.

Spitfire has invested over £1 million into our network, systems and Customer Portal to support the MVNO and One Network, setting us apart as one of the only providers in the UK capable of offering cost effective, secure private mobile connectivity alongside fixed-line and cloud services.

FWaaS further strengthens security by providing Unified Threat Management (UTM), web filtering, DDoS protection, IPS – a more flexible and fully managed alternative to expensive on- premise firewalls. FWaaS uses industry leading Fortinet Fortigate firewalls in a high availability deployment. The demand for our cybersecurity solutions has surged with FWaaS revenue increasing by 37.38% in 2024 and secure network IoT SIM sales growing by 362.86% with revenue up 546.65% compared to 2023.

Customer success and real-world impact is highlighted in two case studies:

Institute of Occupational Medicine required a cost-effective, secure network to support its multi-site operations and environmental monitoring sensors. One Network reduced costs by 40%, enhanced security through private connectivity and two-factor authentication, and enabled real-time remote sensor monitoring without the risks associated with public internet exposure. Secure end-to-end connectivity from device to cloud.

Portico Academy Trust needed an affordable, highly-secure firewall solution to protect 5 schools while ensuring seamless network connectivity. FWaaS provided centralised network security, web filtering and UTM, reducing maintenance from 5 devices to 1 and improving overall network performance and resilience.
