The main difference between Standard and Premium versions of broadband relate to the data throughput target.

During busy times Premium broadband circuits will experience priority data weighting, meaning that this traffic will be transmitted across the network first, before data from Standard broadband circuits.

Generally this means a consistently higher throughput speed on Premium circuits when compared to Standard versions.

The downstream throughput can be 50% higher on Premium circuits.
