Spitfire unveils new hosted telephony service at UC Expo
3 May 2018
Spitfire, the multi-award winning Internet telephony service provider and ISP, is exhibiting at UC Expo 16 – 17 May at ExCeL, London. At the show Spitfire will be previewing its new hosted telephony service, which has already completed highly successful field trials. Customers ordering the new hosted service at Excel will benefit from a reduced cost of £5 per extension, as against an anticipated £6 per extension charge, when the service receives its official launch later this year.
Visitors to the stand can also see a demonstration of the 3CX telephony platform. Spitfire can offer 3CX ‘in the cloud’ as a self-configured/self-managed solution or as a fully managed service to suit customers’ individual capabilities and requirements.
As well as the hosted solutions offered by Spitfire visitors to the stand can discuss Spitfire’s SIP Trunk service. Designed as an ISDN30e and ISDN2e replacement, Spitfire’s SIP Trunks offer business quality secure telephony at typically up to 50 per cent less than the monthly rental cost of an equivalent ISDN service. As an ISP and fixed line operator Spitfire offers a complete end-to-end SIP service via its own IP and TDM infrastructure ensuring complete quality of service.
For data connectivity Spitfire offers a range of Ethernet connectivity options providing customers with next-generation-network broadband access. This includes a new FTTC Ethernet option offering similar performance SLAs as EFM (Ethernet First Mile) and Fibre Leased lines, but at a cost effective price. Spitfire is one of a limited number of suppliers operating the government’s national Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme.
Potential reseller partners visiting the show can benefit from Spitfire’s Partner Service offering outstanding technical support and assistance for IT companies wishing to offer their clients voice and data network services.
As well as exhibiting, Spitfire will also be running a seminar in the Cloud and UCCAS theatre on Wednesday, 16 May at 12.20. Entitled “Practical solutions for ensuring voice quality in WANS and the Cloud”, Andy Duncan, Spitfire’s IT Interface Manager will be looking at the pitfalls of deploying a PBX across a WAN or The Cloud or utilising a public Cloud voice solution and offering practical guidance on how the benefits of Cloud and WAN deployments can be realised without risking voice quality.
For Spitfire, Harry Bowlby, Joint Managing Director commented, “We are delighted to be exhibiting again at UC Expo especially as it gives us an opportunity to unveil our new hosted telephony service to the public for the first time. This new service provides customers with a high level of functionality that they can self-administer, delivering a comprehensive UC solution in the cloud.”
Ends.
